John Karnon and Tony Andersen (Puma31) have entered into an agreement that will establish Puma Cars in Wamboin NSW after 15years in Blackwood SA. John will continue his current involvement and development activities with Puma Cars. Under the transition arrangement production of the current ‘Series 2’ chassis and components will migrate to NSW in 2014 with full chassis and component production expected to be NSW based by the end of 2015. John and Tony are keen to build a greater presence in the eastern states based on the award winning Pumas that John has developed and built since 1999.

New location & product developments.
Puma is now my full time job, we hope to be able to deliver some new and improved products going forward. Our new location has some logistics challenges, but we will work as best we can to overcome those as we continue to product bespoke clubman kits in Australia.
I am also working on a revised IRS design using a custom made upright that I hope we can release a new IRS chassis later in 2023. The early MX based design has limitations and lacked sufficient suspension travel.
